1. Peaches by In The Valley Below
  • Very Raw and Haunting with simple beats and melody, focused on lyrics and vocals
  • Quite Similar to Pumped up Kicks: A nice melody but underlying it is a dark meaning in the lyrics
  • My Interpretation: About being the victim of physical and mental abuse in a relationship
2. Alright by The TVC (The Vicious circle)
  • Alternative-Indie music
  • Casual Music for Chilling with Decent lyrics of the tortured soul relieving him/herself – wanting to be Alright.
  • Average but good addition to playlists
3. Dust and Bones by Night Terrors of 1927
  • Alternative with a touch of EDM mashup in the mix (I thought of Avicii/Skrillex)
  • A simple but powerful lyrics “it’s life and death, we won’t rest, till we’re dust and bones.”
4. What Child Is This? by The Silver Lake Chorus
  • We all know this song which is usually reserved for Christmas… but yes, Silver Lake Chorus is definitely strong in vocals and worth checking out (they have covered many other songs on Youtube Here)

Very Alternative and Indie with hints of modern pop/EDM in their Playlist. Certainly good to discover new bands and songs, but still no match to Chuck’s (the NBC show) hands down astounding song choices!
